    It is a sad day because I had to cancel our Dec/Jan trip today . Various reasons and mainly business related.

    Thank you to everyone who contributed, the info will hopefully be very helpful to those looking to explore this part of our beautiful country. Oh, and there is one more stand available at SRM

    I'm in the same predicament. This whole work thing is messing with my camping life... . I hope things work out for next year. I'll definitely be booking for the 2019/2020 season. I mentioned earlier that we have been doing this every year for 20 years. I checked and this would have been year 22.... The only plus is I will be saving a huge chunk of cash. That little piece of paradise does not come cheap.... I'm working on a November road trip to make up for the dissapointment.....

    Breaking your tradition Michael is really sad, the tough times we live in at the moment

    Something will come up again for us, planning on a Kaokoland trip in Aug '19, hope nothing will stop that one.

    We had near perfect weather this past weekend, the wind only picked up a bit on Saturday night, which only made the fire burn hotter. The park was basically empty:
