Is it manual or auto? Whilst vehicle is stationary or moving?

Can you only hear it in the vehicle or outside?

I had a similar experience with my FL2. Couldn’t find it. Then the clutch packed up and I replaced the flywheel. Noise gone. I’ve heard the same noise in a few manual FL2s. Other irritating culprits are the aircon compressor and belt tensioner pulley. Try switching air con off and on to see if the noise comes and goes

Why not take a turn past an Indie and let them listen to it? Better to be safe than sorry later. Also they use stethoscopes to find the accurate source - may help.

Depends where it is coming from, is it linked to revs, etc

Could be many things: lifter, injector, manifold leak, clutch spring..........
