    Default Small panel cost ?

Have this small setup which runs tv and light via inverter. 105 battery.
Was thinking of small solar panel to keep it charged?
Any rough idea of costs ? 5m to roof.

After running monthly for about 4 hours it usually takes 8 hours to charge when set on 10a. Might be more economical to trickle charge it ?

At present Eskom grid prices - "NEVER". It will take you years, no make that centuries, to recover the costs for a few hours a week/month/year of power cuts. In fact even a daily power cut is cheaper to replace energy when the mains comes back.

Only two reasons for adding Solar PV in a situation like this.

1/. Feel good bunny points that cost you a fortune.

2/. Safety factor for extended periods of no Eskom grid. If that does happen your TV and lights are the least of your problems.
