Default Mabalingwe Caravan Park - yes or no

Please note this is for the Caravan Park not the 4x4 camp sites.

We haven't been there since 2014 and would like to go camp there again soon

Feedback would be much appreciated from recent visitors.

No recent but last year. Pleasant camping site with paved stands, pool and shop on site. We only had a weekend but enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to go back.
Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

Agreed, they have also upgraded some of the facilities! Peak season it could be a bit too busy and noisy!

A trip to the Kalahari Oasis is worth while, an old Landy is the bar and this was the setting for those old oil adverts. There are some real memorabilia there.

Yes for sure. I love the camp. Just stay away from the big tree between ablution and swimming pool.

Never camped in the 4x4 camp but apparently there has been some destructive baboons in the 4x4 camp in the past according to some threads on the the forum, so just be informed. I have no idea of what is waiting for us in the caravan park either as we haven't been there for quite some time.

    You guys must enjoy.

We're booked in the caravan park from the 4th to the 7th of October, also can't wait. First camping trip for the year for us...

I have no doubt you will enjoy, there is also a couple of decent drives, nothing too strenuous and a 4x4 playground. it's a no stress kind of place.

    Have a great time.

The only thing that I don't like about it is the noise. Holiday times they have a program with speakers set up and music playing during the day which is great for the teenage jollers but it's not my scene.

But then maybe I am just spoilt... The mainstream campsites doesn't really attract me at all.

The facilities is as good as it gets though.
If Force is not the solution, not enough of it was applied....

We're not too fazed with it. Our kids grew up with us going to camp sites with entertainment for them.
