    Default Manual Hubs for Colt

I'm seriously thinking of ditching the whole vacume/solonoid/actuator system on my 2008 Colt and replace it with manual hubs at the front wheels. It's a known fact that the Colt suffers from "flashing light" on dash problem and now my hubs are starting to lock and unlock without engaging 4H or 4L. Been told by very experienced Mitsubishi experts that are very well known in Cape Town that I can replace the system and it can fail again without warning. Has anybody else fitted manual hubs to their Colts or Mitsubishi? Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Soutie, as far as I'm aware the Colt system is generally reliable, have you checked all the vacum pipes for leaks?
Last time I looked at hubs was with the auto locking ones I had on my first Colt, so I can't help with the question.
