Default Tentco Bundu Canopy - anyone using one?

If you do use one, your thoughts please? And maybe if you have pics of the setup?

We're using a Tentco Bundu Canopy and can't complain about it.

Takes little more time to pitch than a bat/ostrich type awning but imo much more sturdy in windy and rainy conditions and it provides enough shelter.

One positive is that it does not have to be permanently fitted to the vehicle and can be used on any side where you have a channel to slide the bag section into (like a caravan tent - see pic). Folded with poles it fits on back seat or sideways in load bin of my vehicle and you don't have to drive with it fitted.

The bag forms part of the canopy, closes up with a zip with the folded roof section, poles and pegs inside and its quite easy to carry around.

Can also be used as a stand alone unit (just buy an extra middle pole). I have used it as stand alone gazebo when fishing.

Tentco also supply sidewalls for the canopy. (Bought two sides but have not used them yet).

    I have one works well.
If you decide to buy one PM me I will give you tip on how to
    erect easily.

Pity you are not in W. Cape I may be selling one soon with sidewalls and extra pole.

Here are some pics (off the web - not my pics) with it being used for shade (no sidewalls)

    Hi,

Definitely a good product. I have had mine for years and am very happy with it. I use it on both my vehicle and my trailer roof top tent combo. Would happily buy another.

Thank you Eric..some have mentioned it can be used "stand alone" - is it a viable option and are there fastening places for the poles that would substitute the vehicle support?
