    Default Fuel consumption history

    Hi All

Does anyone know how to access fuel consumption history for a 2018 Toyota Rav4?

The trip data is lost when the ignition is in any other position than the ON position. The trip history on the eco function only displays the range values and not exact data, unless you update it after every trip which for short trips is not practical, and in addition, it still does not allow you to access fuel used, or consumption, or distance travelled.

Does anyone have a practical way of recording this? My old car used to have a Trip 1 record which reset after 4hrs and a Trip B which could only be reset with a prompt. Seems the Toyota has this function lacking?

I've checked Fuelly out and it requires the fuel used information (not sure how to access this on the RAV4) to provide anything meaningful.

It is also impractical to only run a full-(near)empty cycle; especially when doing remote trips.

    Any tips?

    ****UPDATE****

I've played around with the system - on the ECO screen the "UPDATE" button appears to toggle the consumption update and reset between the manual, i.e. pressing update, or automatic, i.e. when the ignition is turned off. I've done about 350km and the consumption has not reset itself, so it is doing what I need it to do.

Incidently the consumption is 5.7l/100km. Not too bad.
