The stickers go on the driver's side of the car and back of the trailer. IOW on the right hand side.

You must have a ZA sticker on your car AND trailer

Just to add. You only need the sticker on the front drivers side and back drivers side of the trailer. No need to put it on the back of your vehicle also.

The ZA sticker needs to be on the back of your vehicle and back of your trailer. (preferably right hand side)

This is the way to use the stickers.

For Mozambique= Use the Blue&Yellow triangle front driver side on vehicle and if you tow a caravan, boat or trailer the 2nd sticker also have to driver side but on the back. This almost have the same value as our red triangles in South Africa. For safety sake, the ZA sticker always somewhere in the Rear.
Easy to remember- Vehicle only, one front friver side.
Towing - Vehicle driver front, one on towed trailer back driver side.

For Botswana,Namibia= The ZA sticker somewhere readable on the rear. It is just to identify your vehicle so that the "Locals" can see you from a neighbouring state.

Zambia = Here the Red T on Black background must be used again with the Za, usually also the rear, take extra T with for the front, you never know. Reason ?

    Regards,
    Louis

I don't like sticking stickers on my car or trailer - what else is available that works? Something magnetic or such and where can you buy it?

Stick the sticker on a piece of hard plastic and cable tie somewhere on the front bumber.

Just a word of warning on magnetic stickers in Moz. Corrupt cops remove then when you are away from your vehicle. Upon return you get fined for not displaying the stickers. Happened to a friend

If you are afraid of the mess left when you take the sticker off, rub some sunlight liquid on the spot where the sticker is to go, and then stick it down. When you want to take the sticker off, it peels off with no residue left behind.

Just to correct something. You only need the Yellow and blue sticker if you are towing. If you are not towing you dont need it.

    Thanks all the people

I have now bought the blue/yellow stickers (for MOZ) - BUT - one is big and one is small (the stickers that is)- are there any rules? i.e. big sticker on car and small on trailer or vice versa?

Also to confirm - ZA sticker not neccesary for MOZ (sorry, I have edited - this was not a statement but a question)

It's all well and good for someone in a shop somewhere in SA to tell you you DON'T need the ZA sticker on your vehicle in Moz...but what happens when you are in Moz and some cop "sees you coming"...is that person in the shop in ZA gonna come and explain??

Just to be on the safe side, get the ZA sticker / magnet and apply it...
