    Question 2009 Pajero 3.8 V6 LWB

    Hi all

I am very determined to buy myself a 2009 Pajero LWB 3.8 V6. Am I purchasing a good car, as I have never owned/known anyone who has owned or driven a Pajero? Anything I should take note of about this specific car before purchasing? I have only read good things about it on the net, but would like to hear some of your personal opinions about the car as well!

One things for sure, I understand itís thirsty..

Just go buy it! Fuel consumption concerns quickly takes a back seat when you compare this car with those stinky and noisy diesels.

I bought mine with 2 previous owners, 86K on the clock, now on 115K. Other than having to replace the front disks and pads due to vibration, no other problems at all. Just have it serviced by reputable people. I give mine an oil and filter change with Delo in between as well. Sometimes when I let it stand for too long without driving, one lifter would go clicking away for a few minutes, then go silent again.

One of the mpst awesome vehicles I ever owned a 3.8 V6 Pajero. You won't regret it in my opinion

Ok maybe occasionally at the pumps but it gets better as the service levels at the fuel station improves because you go there so often you become part of the family there

What the guys said. We have done some tough trips in our 2004 3.8i and the car builds your confidence. Strangely, one of the easiest cars I have ever had to park. Good on the street, highway or offroad. 👴

Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

I have the 2005 version and it is amazing. Also going on 200k kms. I think this car will keep driving for years to come. Only issue for the gen4 will be dash rattles, for which there is a fix on this forum if yours annoys you. Otherwise you will surely enjoy the car.
