Default Road Map stuck on bonnet

    Hi All

I was recently in the Eastern Cape and saw a Hilux with a road map of Southern Africa stuck across the entire bonnet and even onto the front fenders.

Anybody out there have any idea where this could be done?

    Many thanks!

Assume it'd be a vinyl wrap. Try Ricky at Urban Sky... http://www.urbanskysigns.co.za/

Ink Monkey is in Centurion. I assume that may be a bit too far for the OP to travel for something as simple as that.

Any place that does body wraps will be able to print a map to cover your bonnet, they can scale the map infinitely to make it the right size for your vehicle, but make sure they cover it with clear vinyl afterwards.

I have had the same done on my Nissan Patrol Safari vehicle. Customers love it and garage pump attendants are normally totally bowled over, calling you to show you where they come from. I made mine a little bit too short, I should have added more of Angola and Mozambique.

Because the Patrol stands so high and the bonnet is so long, I only put mine from the front ridge, to about 2/3rds of they way up, as nobody is tall enough the see it close up if it reached as far as the windscreen. Somebody may just be tempted to use the bull bar to climb onto the bonnet to see, like the kids at Nata in Botswana tried to do a year ago!!!

    Thanks Guys.

The one I was thinking of looks almost like a Tracks for Africa type road map of most of Southern Africa.

Not sure if the one I saw was a wrap....

It will be a wrap. Search car vinyl wrap companies in your area
