I have been driving an NP300 single cab 2.5 4x4 for a few years now. I bought it for a) the price and b) it's simple and does the job. I'm one of those that likes the PVC floor cover in the cab and the manual window winders. I love the vehicle and we have done many 4x4 trips with it going to places I have been before with my old 80 series Land Cruiser. The NP300 never missed a beat.

I am now considering going back to a double cab and have been looking at the DC NP300 2.5 4x4 - I think that will be my next buy. Ideally I'd want it without the roof racks and with the steel rims as in the picture below (the model shown in the photo is 2.4 petrol).

This is the one for BWP214000. I have asked NTT Nissan for the spec

    Their reply:

The following are the differences on the car:
    • Side step
    • No central locking
    • No rollbar
    • No mag wheels ( standard rim)
    • No Power windows, manually operated
    • Rear bumper different
    • Black front bumper and black wheel arch mouldings
    • No center console
    • No power mirrors

    (It does have aircon.)

    Thanks Kobus,

That is exactly what I am looking for. A great looking vehicle in my opinion. And very basic too. Love it.

Wish they were available here in SA?

If you have Aircon then you are good to go.

However I do like central locking .

Other than that you don't need all the other stuff.
