    Default Holnek 4x4 Route, Carolina/Chrissiesmeer

    Howzit everyone and Jeep owners.

Im sure you guys all had a relaxed weekend?

Quick one, has anyone here done the Holnek route just outside Carolina?

Some info would be awesome as google is as helpful as your next licence department, and it doesnt supply much info.

Im looking for the following info:

    Route length
    Gradiants
    Trail driving time
    Route fees

The accommodation i manage to find, but the rest, nothing.

Any info(photos as well) would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Russel,

All I can say, you won't be disappointed.

It was quite a surprise to me as I expected some mediocre trail, but it is low range stuff most of the time.

For the costs you must phone them, as we stayed in one of the camps and then the trail is for free.

Look at this post I did some time ago.

Go and experience for yourself. Not much to loose anyway, except if your approach and departure angle is not good you might hook the towbar, or worse the bumber.

It is however not vehicle damage stuff.
