    Default 1963 Haflinger

    Look what I found :-)

Any idea what one would pay in this condition? No rust - ex Namibia car. All original. I have testes the 4WD but not the lockers yet. Chenged the timing a bit as it was out. It was running on one pot but a new plug sorted that out.

    Some pics attached.

Now you can really go to town!!!

That little Haflinger will go where a baboon with a kierie cannot go... (OK OK just in a manner of speaking)

    And in good condition!

When you say "found", does that mean you still want to buy it or already bought it?

The owner wants R70000. Her has a fair amount of spares with the car though....

Saw a real rust bucket for R25K on gomboom some time ago.

He also has an Enfield motorbike - the one made in India - maybe I can get him to throw that in for the hell of it....

Thing is, you just dont get them like these, Richard.

There's one in KZN at R 120000, fully restored (so the owner says), another one in Fourways at R 140 000 (mint).

Its a RHD, its licenced, its different, its fun,its rust free, and you'll get more than R 60 000 again - all day long, maybe even more, and DEFINITELY more in a few years' time.

If you pass this one for whatever reason, pls let me know if possible.
