    Default let's talk: batteries

So, I finally had to replace my 2012 Hyundai H1's battery. Yes, the factory fitted battery died on me today. I think it did well to last 6 years. But now the question arise: Has anyone replaced their batteries with a manufacturer supplied battery and got the same lifespan out of it as the original factory fitted one?

In the past I have also always replaced with 3rd party brands, but this is the 2nd manufacturer battery I replaced this year which lasted a very long time, hence got me thinking. My wife's Polo' battery is also 2011 or 2012 I think and I had to replace it about 3 months ago. So, different brand cars, different factories, yet they seem to last quick long.
