Default The Scenic route from Kuruman to Twee Rivieren

with a trip to Kgalagadi in August looming ever closer I have made the decision to travel via Vanzylsrus. I will take this route regardless of the road condition as I find the drive to Upington very boring and always saturated with trucks.

As this will be a completely new experience I was wondering whether any of the Forum members have any sage advice for me?

Should I reduce tyre pressure for car and trailer after we leave Hotazel - Pajero Sport ?

Have done that dirt road last week and was in good shape, easily averaged 90 km/hour.

just slow down for oncoming traffic, and avoid a windscreen replacement.

The road between vZR and Askham has poor binding, so smooth one day and corrugated soon afterwards. So yes, you should reduce tyre pressure a little (harder tyres make the corrugations come back quicker as well).
