How do you do your logos? Etching?

EDIT: Ok, I see in an earlier post it is etching. The question now is how do you get the small detail on your mask. Laser cut?

Elbow injury kept me away from work. There was the small mountain I needed to transverse with a bicycle.
    Eventually finished the sheath

Personally I prefer the straighter back, and also I'm not a fan of a finger groove.

But it does add visual interest.

As the gas gets low. Place it in a bucket of water to improve the flow. I read this somewhere nd it works

Ha Ha thats funny. Im so happy to see other people also make mistakes. I make many mistakes, I am just not honest enough to tell about them. If you dont have edm how are you going to drill those holes?

Could you not re anneal the blades .?Could you perhaps try to just anneal the handle side of the blades with gas to bring the hardness down and if you can drop the hardness a bit then use a masonry drill. I have had success using cheap masonry bits but have sharpened them on a green wheel.Thats if you dont have cobalt drill bits.

440C is a air harding steel. Im not sure what will work. Trying annealing might be the answer, just don't know how the steel will react

There was a company up in Joburg area that used to come down to Cape Town for exhibitions that used to sell drill bits that looked like masonry bits but they could drill through a file and a sheet of glass in succession.
Dragon Bits was their name, but the name of the company is long forgotten.

What a struggle. Holes drilled and only one bit destroyed. The surface hardens in air. Tried to let it cool slowly but the skin harden nonetheless
Note to self...drill holes first thing

After some thought. I might have heated the blades too much. I hope that i won't need this knowledge again

Pics don't show the detail. Not 100% happy. First attempt at free hand.
