Blue LED on when the soak period is complete together with a audible buzzer. Thus i don't need to watch the oven like a hawk checking time.

Ammeter is supplied by 220V thus my 220v indicator.
Is that solid state relay the one from micro robotics? If it is be warned, I know of more than one that melted with very little current going through it.

I am not sure where I bought it from. Most came from Botshop

I ran a bar heater via the ssr during testing. I will keep a close eye on that one

So frustrating. The PID was working fine now I find that something is coursing the MAX13855 to be unstable give errors.
I was going to start final testing before building it in a box. Now I must sort out this new problem

    Edit
After some testing it seems the power supply is causing the problem. I will connect the LM2596 adjustable buck pack to hopefully fix the problem

I ended using a old computer supply connected to the LM2596. System is stable and reading correctly. I tweaked the timing. So the soak time is 10min per stage. Some how the LEDs are not working. I'm going to leave it out for the final product. Testing going fine up to now

Lcd display, 12v fan and ammeter will indicate any power issues thus LEDs are redundant

    edit
After I solved the problem the power supply created I could revisit my LED idea. it is actually a good idea and I connected the LEDS,
just nice to see at a glance the SSR firing and also very important to note that the cycle is complete.
next step is to build the PID controller in a box and start on the oven itself

I tested the robustness of the design. I blew up the controller to test how easy it is to repair.
    Parts cost R500 about.

OK not really done it intentionally but replacement parts easily available. Also made some improvements

I repaired the controller. Was very easy. The mod will make repairs much easier. That is hoping for no slip ups.

As seen on the Pic every thing plugs in.

I started with the oven build. Refractory cement to bond the walls, roof and floor. Baking in the son to cure the cement.
