We are planning a similar route for September.

traveling from Hobas to De Hoop in one day, via Sendelingsdrif?
and from DeHoop to Vioolsdrif in one day, via Eksteenfontein?
Is this doable with a caravan? off course we will be staying a few nights at each camp, and do day trips.

It's doable with an off road caravan.

We will also be there for a week, on route to Namibia.
Leaving Cape Town on 22 June.

We are struggling to get camping accommodation for 01 & 02 July in Namibia.
I have tried Namtib: Little Hunter's Rest but they are on holiday and not responding to emails or phone calls.

    Suggestions welcome.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.<O</O

If you think the road between Sendelingsdrif and Alexander Bay is bad, then you should stay far away from the Kuboes/Eksteenfontein/Orange River track.
There is nothing worse in Africa Im sure.

Have a look at the South African National Parks website.
It is so user friendly, loads of information, maps, routes, fauna, flora, animals, accommodation ect.
