    Hi Razeen

Where did you get the pins to insert into the empty holes in the two plugs?
I got as far as the final stage when pin 2 goes to earth and pin 1 goes to pin 26 on the top plug of ECU....but have no idea where to buy the actual pins...

Has anyone done this in the Western Cape?

    Update:

Quote from Imperial Toyota Cape Gate - R3700...
Quote from Barloworld Toyota Tygervaley - R1900...

The trick it seems is that you should not ask for "How much to install cruise control on my Hilux?". You should rather ask:

    "
    How much for
    - T08463234011 (stalk),
    - T08463348020 (wire),
    - T09015950199 (screw),
    - T0451860K140C0 (cover),
    - and installation?
    "

    Hi Deon
Sorry i never replied to the queation. Had teouble with my login. You can use the oins they use in the back of the radio plugs. Otherwise you can order the wires from Toyota. If you did it already all good. If you still need help you can give me a call. I might have the part number for the wires. 0829nine20752

Yes i did it. Had the wiring done by radio autosonic bellville. Because they had to wire the rear camera. So i thought they might as well do the cruise control wires. I fitted the stalk myself.

Lightbulb Re: 2.4 GD6 hilux (2017-18) cruise control

Hi All this is my first post on the Forum...

I Bought a 2.4 SRX (My First Bakkie) new in July 2019 - The only issue I had with it was that there was no option to fit cruise control as an accessory.
I did some research on the net and found the following:

The 2.4 Hilux can definitely be retrofitted with cruise control! I have it fitted on my vehicle and it works 100%, even the dash light comes on as with the 2.8 Hilux and Fortuners. In my opinion, the 2.4 Hilux should have come with it from the factory as all provisions were made for it!
The parts are all plug and play, and no wires need to be cut or modifications are required.

The parts you will need for the Fitment are as follows: (Prices Shown July 2019 excl vat)

    TO8463348020 - Wire Cruise Switch R 135.85
    TO9015950199 - Screw x 2 R 22.60
    TO451860K14OCO - Cover, Steering Wheel R 129.24
    TO8463234011 - Switch, Speed Control Main R 873.16
    Labour R 962.00

I had it fit to the vehicle at the dealership I bought it, before taking delivery. All warranty's etc are still in place as it was done at Toyota with OEM parts.
The cruise control fits in the existing steering wheel, on the lower right side at the back (You will see provision has been made for it, as there is a removable cover)
If the bakkie was not under warranty, I would have simply fitted it myself and saved R 962.00

The bakkie is definitely a pleasure to drive on long roads, and in 6th gear it goes like a train!
I love it, and honestly cant imagine the bakkie without cruise control! - As stated it should have been a Factory accessory option.

But for those of use who knows, it can be done, pleasure awaits....

Did anyone recently fitted cruise control to a 2.4 SRX? This would be in Johannesburg.

The quote I got for the Cruise Control is R6800 (Excl VAT).

    This sounds a bit high?

Thanks, Lynwood is just a bit out of my way. Therefore hoping someone can do it in JHB.

Helo Razeen, can you maybe give your contact details please. I tried to contact you earlier but seemed to have no response.
