Default Trip report: Moremi & Chobe Sep 2017

Its taken me a little while but I've finally put together a report on a trip to Moremi and Chobe last year.

Our route itinerary included Kharma Rhino Sanctuary, Kubu Island, Island Safari Lodge, Third Bridge, Xakanaxa, Dhizana, Savuti, Linyanti, Ihaha and Chobe Safari Lodge.

The report can be found here: http://africanrover.co.za/2018/03/04...eptember-2017/

If you prefer to download and read locally I've also attached a pdf version of the report to this post.

Thanks Paul, very enjoyable report, photos and video. I enjoyed the Mabua report on your website as well.

Hi Wihan, we had 150l for each vehicle and we covered 924km between Maun and Kasane. From memory the Fortuner still had about a quarter of a tank left at the end.

Thanks for the information. Going in July 3 nights 3rd bridge, 4nights Dizhana, 2 nights Savuti and then to chobe safari. I assume 150l would be enough for hilux 2.4 diesel.

Yes that should be fine. There is also new Puma petrol station at Muchenje which is a bit closer than Kasane.

A nice trip Report with stunning photos, thanks a lot. Love your Lion at Xakanaka reception!
We just came back from Moremi in the green season and it is amazing how everything changes in the dry months.

Lovely report and well written. Doing pretty much the same trip with a few more stops, but in reverse order. Starting in Jo'burg, to Kasane, Ihaha, Linyanti, Savuti, Dizhana, Xakanka, Maun, Nxai, Khumaga, KRS.

    So your report very useful
