Question Travel from Zimbawe all the way into Caprivi Strip

    Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could help me with my upcoming trip.
I am flying into Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe at the end of April.
We will be crossing over onto the Zambian side of the falls, and staying there for a few days. We are planning to get a rental at Livingstone and then drive from Livingstone into Botswana, maybe do a self-drive into Chobe National Park, and then venture across the border into Caprivi.
Does anyone know roughly what border fees will cost us?
Should we hire a 4x4 for the self drive into Chobe? Or will a normal car or 4x2 do just fine?
What are the border crossings like at Ngoma Bridge and Kazungula?
Any other pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

In Chobe you need 4x4 no doubt. They don't let you in with out.

The Bots / Nam <--> border crossing is very easy no matter where.
