    Default Canopy Sighting

    Hi Fellow Users,

Today I saw something very interesting.

I was driving along the on the N1 Highway near Menlyn, and on the opposite side a Ford Ranger (white) went past with a Square Box shape (if I can call it that) Canopy with doors on the side. It looked like a custom built canopy. White in color with darker doors. I could not see clearly or take a photo.

Can anyone please give me information regarding this/similar canopies.

    Thank you.
    Gellie

    Hi Mannemerak,

Thanks but no, this canopy was square, shaped like a box. It did not look angled on the sides. Almost looking like the canopies they do for the Mahindras. But this was on a Ford Ranger.

    Thank you

    Hi Rustie,

Again, no... The canopy was not shaped like any of the canopies currently on the market that is well known canopies. It was not angled (slanted) on the side, nor the back from what I saw. It was completely square, or atleast looked square. It did not follow any of the Ranger`s vehicle lines. Almost looked like the Fridged delivery bakkies, Square, but it was a Off-road canopy with doors on the side that could open, with those black canopy locks.

Maybe it could have been a custom design from the known manufacturers, I could not tell because it was on the opposite side of the Highway.

    Thanks Anyway.

    Hi DP123,

Thanks, but no tent. Only the canopy...

If I may ask, why, do you know off a similar canopy?

Was it not perhaps a Telkom vehicle? They normally have the load box removed and a "box" with Armdillo roll up doors installed, either on two or three side
