    Default Piet se pad

Please note if anyone is going there, you must take a chainsaw. We were there today 24/2/2018 and in the 'tunnel' a big tree fell across the track.
So unless you have a saw, don't enter the 'tunnel'.

We had two pangas to mince it, but not enough beer, so we trashed the idea....
On that point, we picked a few beer cans which washed down the riverbed. Please chuck you cans in your vans!

Kyk tussen die dam op die kaart en die Swazi grens, veral die 'a' van die SOUTH AFRICA naam op die kaart.
So tussen die 'a' en die dam, dus langs die grens is Piet se pad.

Following the very vague information on where this route is, I have drawn in this route using Google Earth. Even if it is not Piet se Pad, it might be nice to go and check out. The blue sections are where I picked up alternative "roads" in Google Earth.

Is their a route from the top of ossewa to get to piet se pad, or do you come back down again and then drive to piet se pad?

    More manne

Ja dis doenbaar ek het n roete uitgewerk so paar jaar terug. Maar dit verander elke keer as jy daar is. Bome val om na elke storm, donga spoel uit, plantasie verander ook. Jy moet so 3km deur Swaziland ry.

Wil hom ook weer gaan ry net eers my drone reg kry. Sal julle laat weet, daar is dele wat lyk soos Knysna woud. As jy ossewa slaan vroeg oggend 7:30 8:00 en Piet se pad byt nie, kom jy by die dam uit teen so 5pm.

Dis n lank dag in die saal. Reen is dit n no go behalwe as jy groot wiele het.
