    Question Please ID this snake

A few days my neighbour picked up his wheelbarrow that was laying upside down for some time. Under it he found this snake which promptly started to give birth to 4 babies.

He thought it was brown house snake but today I was googling some snake stuff and found the the brown house snake laid eggs and not give birth to live ones.

So please we need to ID this snake.
