    Hi there,

I am trying to plan a Moremi/Chobe/Savuti trip but I am struggling finding a good operator who can help. Any suggestions?

    Kind regards,

Just a correction, Tara is no longer at Botswana Footprints. She sold her share and moved to Aus.

Thank you, lovely report and photo's.

I was hoping to see a pic taken from the under ground bunker at Senyati, as I we are heading that way later this year and I was wondering what to expect, photography wise, from the bunker.

Unfortunately we didn't see anything worthwhile while in the underground hide, just a few giraffe in the distance while lounging on the day bed late afternoon.

No ways...?? I booked this trip through Botswana Footprints and I wondered why Tara wasn't appearing anywhere in the emails this time... she usually pops up somewhere and gets involved. She was a huge asset to the business, pity she's gone....

Alicat, any idea why People at Dizhaana were so grumpy? Would you still recommend to spend time there? Is there any possibility to do game drives around this camp or is it rather sit and enjoy and wait what Comes into your campsite??

Anne, I would definately recommend Dizhana.... the location is beautiful and despite the miserable weather, we still had a fair amount of game coming and going throughout the day. We didn't get in the car at all the whole time we were there, enough going on around the campsite to keep us entertained, and we did go for walks as well.... Obviously not too far....

I think the initial grumpy greeting may have been the fact that the campsite seemed to be in limbo & the locals that were on site were aware of the fact that we'd all paid, but they weren't seeing any of the money... but hopefully it's all resolved now.... with a bit of luck, they have got running water to all the ablutions now as well.

Thanks for this nice report, AliCat. It's always such a pleasure to read about places we love, but then it always make me ill in desire to immediately go back there!

What a lovely trip report, thanx. You always seem to be so lucky. Did you see many vehicles towing 4x4 trailers?

Hi Tron, thanks, glad you enjoyed the read

Now that I think about it, no, don't recall seeing too many trailers being towed.... lots of overseas peeps with their rental 4x4's, but trailers, not many at all.....

    Hi Slowones...

I honestly don't know because the guy in charge was out with their guests on a drive, so the rest of the staff that were there were all rigging up tents etc, don't recall seeing any branding on anything.... just 7 or 8 tents spread over the campsite. Once we'd settled in our spot, I felt we had actually scored so didn't really pursue it any further...
