It's a vector design,it's by no means perfect i just did it quickly for you to see.

The program is inkscape it is free and the basics to do that is also easy.

I do some stuff yes,but it's not my profession.

You can learn to do that by yourself,it's really not that hard to learn, the tutorials are on youtube.

Best is to draw your ideas on paper exactly how you want it before you commit to paying a designer as it can get quite expensive.

On a caravan that big i would not go with a very dark color like the dark grey/blue as you mentioned, a light color will bring out all the curves and details much better
and it's much nicer on the eye, with a light color you can add dark decals(vinyl stickers).

Everyone does the sand/brown color and in my opinion the light retro green with black will turn heads since no one is doing it,and it looks badass.

I will give it a go. Thanks

    Agree on the light color.

Im also looking at the vinyl wrapping. Theres a company in PE that does the design and wrapping. But will first compare the cost to painting

Oh no i didn't mean wrapping,i meant painting the van then adding some vinyl sticker decals like a name or a design.

Install inkscape then watch that video, then you can do what i did.

    Cool.

Drag and drop your picture of the van into inkscape.

At the top click view grid

On the rightside click add layer.

Press B on you keyboard for the bezier tool, its the shortcut key.
You will be using this tool the whole time to make the lines.

When you complete a outline click fill, fill is to color in that part.

Search Hex code on google , you have to enter the hex code of the colour. Google for example "light blue hex code"

On that video he explains everything very easy.

    Save the file as .SVG

    Well done☺

And now you know the basics of making a vector design. You can now design your own stickers for the van also. If you want different text fonts just google and install a font you like.

A print shop usually wants .pdf files if it smaller stickers save as 350 dpi but just send them the .svg .pdf and .eps so that they have everything in all relevant formats since they use other software programs.

One thing you should do is always make extra back up copies of your work and store it somewhere in the original format.
