Default Hilux REVO - Key in Ignition Buzzer

OK, so the Hilux REVO has a buzzer that starts up as soon as you put the Key in the ignitioon and the door is open - very irritating...
I did some goolging and found a solution... See pics attached, just unplug this connector and the buzzer is disabled...
Buzzer still comes on for headlignts left on, etc, and I have found no other side effects...

To unplug you have to remove the screw beneath the stearing column, as well as LHS and RHS beneath stearing wheel - takes all but 2 minutes to do...

This works like a charm, got no idea why Toyota would have a door open key in the ignition buzzer on a bakkie, you are in and out of it all day long. I was concerned it would affect any auto box setting, but this work around works. Just a word of advice, the clips on the covers are flimsy so take care splitting the top from the bottom.
