Anyone know how much dop we're allowed to fly into Maun with?

They will advice you when you buy at OR Tambo International airport. Go to Air Botswana desk they will advice. One time was trying to buy a perfume there, and I was told I could only buy it if Im flying outside SADC, was pissed. When you like something but you cant buy it.

True, there is no duty free allowance between ORT and BW, but the question as I understand it is the amount per person allowed into BW.
And the answer is................. same as at any borders as when you cross by road.
The flight allowance might vary so Air Botswana will be able to tell.

    You are allowed

    1L of spirits
    AND
2 x 750ml bottles of wine PER PERSON!

    Have the receipts in case.

Out of interest , Johnny Walker Black @ Makro around R290.

    Gaborone average price R500+

    Haute Cabriere R89 @ Makro , Woolworths Gaborone R167.

So if you going to drink a bit you can easily save yourself a fair amount of money for nothing.

No alcohol allowed from ORT to Botswana. It is because of the trade agreement .So do not even bother to find out .
