    Default Another tyre comparison question

Time to choose new boots for my Triton. 3.2 auto 4x4 D/C. Size 245/70/16. Got a quote for Pirelli ATR at R1650. I previously had Yokohama Geolanders on the Prado and was very happy with them. Any others I should be looking at? Similar price range. I'll do about 20% dirt/offroad.

If you're looking for all terrains, Goodyear Wrangler is a good option. I have them on my Disco 1 and I am very happy with them. That price is good for Pirelli though, but I will never buy them, for personal reasons.

Thanks Nitebob. Very informative article. I was looking for it, but couldn't remember when it was done or by which mag.

Watter km kan jy verwag op Good Year adventure wat kompetisie gewen het met normale SUV . Met gesprekke wat ek gehad het word beweer dat Good Year so 45 000 km behoort te gee. Ek weet nie of dit die Adventure of ander all-terrain is in Good Year stal, maar as daar iemand is met spesifiek Adventure ondervinding sal ek baie graag wil weet.

In the class of tyre you're looking, Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 is a good call, much improved over the A/T-S G012

Hankook Dynapro, similar price range and an excellent all rounder off-road, low road noise and comfortable drive.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I eventually went with the Pirellis. Went for 265/70 in the end @ R1,675 each, fitted, etc. 8 ply tyre with very good reviews at that price - I'm happy. We'll see how they perform.

After yesterday I will discourage anybody from buying Pirelli tyres. Not going to brand bash...pm me if you want details
