Not TRUE politics, but politic adjacent & good news nonetheless...

The road death toll over the 2017/2018 festive season has decreased to 1 527, an 11% drop from the previous year.

My most positive Experience as of late relates to this Thread..........http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/...03#post3346803

In a Nutshell, we (yes, WE) are starting to see there IS A PROBLEM. And WE are addressing it.

Problems do'nt just magically disappear. You have to take them on head first, and get them off your desk.

No more " No there is no Problem" stupid replies.

I am no exchange rate expert. What I do know is the influence politics can have on it. But currently these graphs are not looking that bad .

I am not too fond of Huffington Post but every once in a while they deliver an article that is good to read. I liked this one a lot.

Had nothing better to do so watched Parliamentary Committee grilling Anoj Singh on ESKOM.

Pravin gave him “carrots”, refreshing to see an intelligent person in action. Looking forward to seeing him back as CR’s finance minister...... may even cause me to change party membership

Mr Singh was VERY VERY near to tears at some stage, watched a part of his grilling last night.

One cant BELIEVE how damn easy it actually was to start milking Eskom.......................unbelievable. Get an advance payment from a Supplier, buy a bankrupt mine with that money, and start supplying Eskom who actually paid you to be the Supplier, at inflated prices.

Well 25% of my investment is off shore so not so good for me. But then my “toy” uses 19l/100km so (hopeful) drop in petrol price might make me feel better.
