Gaan my verkiesings lokaal verander.

Executive Mayor of Durban Metro and one of her MMC's arrested yesterday, and released on R50k bail. Charges of fraud, money laundering, racketeering and so on, all relating to a waste disposal contract. She is a major Zuma supporter, and reputed to be a bit of a gangster in her own right.

Have to see whether enough evidence can be unearthed (and relevant witnesses kept alive) to secure a conviction, but I cannot see her having even being arrested in the Zuma era.

This poisonous thief and villain of a woman has seen - ironically partially through dodgy contracts for refuse/sewage services- that the Shitty of Dirtbin fully lives up to it's new moniker.

Shitty, suburbs and settlements are filthy and dangerous, harbour is a cesspool, beaches are no-go- unless you're up for a good bout of disease.....

I hope this dishonourable mayor ( chain and all) and her cronies fall-deep -into an unserviced cesspit, ideally!

She wanted to have the marchers against corruption arrested when they marched in Durban a couple of years ago. She is also the one who wanted to pay Zuma for a music/record deal for his struggle songs with our hard earned ratepayers money.

Presidential inauguration will cost R100 milj less than the last Zuma. That is the good news but why to pay R120 milj. Only Ramaphosa, chief justice and couple witnesses are required. They can have a cup of coffee afterwards.

Today there was a march to the KZN ANC headquarters by Gumede's supporters. I have always cynically said that the larger and more vocal the crowd of supporters at a SA politician's court appearance, the bigger the skelm they are likely to be.

Interesting write up from ANC veterans about Tom Moyane. At the same time it is obviously against at least one other person

Malusi Gigaba and Baleka Mbete will not be in parliament. There should be couple other resigning also. Mbete did not control Zuma and Gigaba cost the state = tax payers billions. Real Gupta minister.

Maybe not yet a positive development but very interesting. David Mabuza has postponed his swearing in. This has big legal implications. If the process with ANC integrity committee doesn't move really fast we will have different deputy president next week.

Basically Mabuza has been implicated bringing ANC to disrepute. He wants to clear his name. But if he is not MP he cannot be deputy president. He cannot be MP if not sworn in and president has to nominate deputy fast. Details are in the links below.

There is a possibility/there was a story that Ace manipulated the list. That story was "made to disappear". But there was real unhappiness within ANC about having implicated people on the list. But then when this was front page news the list was frozen and by law names could not be removed. Legals figure out that those causing complains can resign before swearing in or even later. Our system allows the party to send the next person on the list. That is what is happening.

Problem is that they will show up at Luluthi House. That will be a problem. Those who have been in wrong doing should get free accommodation but that could take time. A good place for quite a few of them is an ambassadorial position.

Based on written info Mokonyane would be happy in one of the West African countries Somebody could be sent to Mongolia, an other to Georgia.... They are very important positions.
