Default Canopy for Fiat Fullback and new Triton

    Hi Everybody,

I'm currently looking for a canopy for my Fiat Fullback. What canopies are out there for the Fiat Fullback and new Mitsu Triton and at what prices? And if their is pictures of how it looks fitted it would be greatly appreciated. I cant decide yet whether to go Aluminum, or Fiberglass. My second half don't really like the Alu's so I guess it would be fiberglass. But whatever is out there. Please show.

Please visit Canopy Land's (Epic Gear) Face Book page.

They also build it like you want it.

Depend on whether you want a fibreglass or Aluminium / Stainless steel canopy. Beekman makes an executive canopy for the Fullback. RLD Designs make a very nice canopy with sie doors, roofrack and other acessories. RSI also make a canopy for the Fllback. Also look at the Bushtech canopy. All these canopies are of very high quality

    Hi Everyone.

Thank you for the responses so far. Mr G the Beekman certainly looks good on the bakkie, but so does the Bush tech (Epic Gear). I actually saw the Bush Tech on a Hilux today and it certainly looks like a good buy. But between my wife and myself the debate is ongoing. The Beekman looks more luxurious and comfortable, specially if the kids ride in the back on longer trips, and it has air vents if you don't use the windows. The Beekman also has speaker holders for the kids on longer trips. But the Bush Tech can take load on the top for overlanding (Moz Trip in Planning). And it looks much more rugged and durable. The cost is the same.

The CarryBoy range have some very nice ones for the Triton/ Fullback, but it seems that it wont be easy to get them in SA and expensive if you do.

Then there is the BosOtter as well, some say Yay, others Nay. Are these worth a try?

But I am sure it will either be the Beekman or Bush Tech8).

Hi Leeubok. It looks great. How long did you wait after you ordered it?As I also cant wait too long if I order it as my initial plan was to install it this month, but had some business expenses that had me pospone it for now. But I do hope it can be done before we go on holiday end Feb. My Second half still thinks we must rather go with the Beekman though . She want something sleek, I want something we can do overlanding with and still looks very good.
You said you paid R18K for it?
Do you perhaps have a photo of how it looks inside? Does it get hot inside as I dont have any knowledge on the Alu Canopies yet?

    Hi Chris.

I had to wait two weeks for it. It was R18000 and some change yes. But I also had the sliders in side windows installed which is extra. Not sure how hot it gets in there, but I think it'll be cool ish.
I think this is much better than a fibreglass cause you can also load 500kg on top of it. And the opening side windows are great.
Will post some pics of the inside for you tomorrow

Some more pics of the epic gear canopy. I see it has a small leak but I manged to find the source. The black goo type silicone they used to seal it in the one corner didn't harden quickly enough and some of it run off, leaving a small gap for water to enter. Should be easy enough to seal again.

Now that I have a canopy I don't know how I ever did without one! Click image for larger version.
