Default 3.2 T6 Serpentine belt diagram

My bakkie chewed up the serpentine belt. Eventually got home and have the new belt waiting.

Now I just need the routing diagram to fit the thing. Google is useless or I am just too tired to see what I am looking for. Can anyone help please?

While we are at it, any tips, tricks or wisdom worth sharing?

    OK I found it.

I also succeeded in getting the belt replaced. Again greatest respect for people who work on cars for a living. I either have too few hands or my hands are too big to fit into spaces, especially at angles. Anyway, job's done.

However a little concerned as to the cause for the failure. I see the new belt is running a little off position on the tensioner pulley. Should I be worried?

Are the bearings in the tensioner still okay? How many km's do you have on the engine?

    Hi Waldo,

Do you happen to have a picture for the 2.2l engine, I need to change mine soon.

Or where can I get a copy of the manual that you printed the picture from.

    Cheers,

    Bill.

Have no idea what happened to the old one, but it was shredded and wound around the fan shaft. Sitting on around 110k km.

It takes less than 5 min to do the 2.2.
Start at the crank pulley and then work towards the aircon pump and the water pump. Next will be the power steering pump and the tensioner pulley. The last piece will the over the alternator.

So the sequence will be as per waldo's pic: 7-3-6-5-4 then 9-8-9-1. 9 is the tensioner pully and have two pulleys.

Use a strong arm bar with extension as you will need the leverage. There is a place on the tensioner where is fits and needs to be pushed to the battery side. Now slowly force it over the alternator pulley.

Nuwe belt op gesit, toe eet hy hom ommidelik weer op. Ek het die hele tensioner vervang. Ford vrae R2300 vir hom, dit by spares shop in Opherton, JHB gekry vir R650.
Doen jouslef die guns en vervang die tensioner ook.

Done. Tensioner was replaced shortly after the new belt. This was just a temporary fix to be going again.
