    I would like to close this thread

    I am starting a new post

    project ROVERINE (RRC overland preperation) focusing on preparing and repairing the car for a namibian botswana trip and hopefully engine conversion in the new year- after pink foot has arrived
    I think if you don't have R1k for a new MAF then you should reconsider a conversion.

    I would like to confirm
    Did the 300tdi come in the zf auto box or was it a R380? Auto

    R380 is manual box.The RR and D1 used the same outo box.
    2012 RR TDV8 4.4
    2006 TDV6 SE A/T(Sold)
    2013 Bush Lapa Boskriek B142 met CKGR strepe

    Ok makes more sence as philip from rangies said i need a diffrent bellhousing and flexplate ect
    But i think its due to the fact its a R380 manual compared to an auto zf

    You will need the Tdi bellhousing for the a/t.Doubt if the v8 flexplate will fit the Tdi crank but you can compare the partnrs.
