I went to the Wedge 4x4 course in Muldersdrift on the weekend, there was a bit of water and mud, but is there something I can do to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks.

By not doing 4x4 course at all... Just joking. Sorry, may be an aftermarket rear bumper? Andrew of 4xoverland criticized this part of the Pajero very badly, saw it on one of the Youtube videos.

With the standard bumpers and plastic skirting, all Pajeros that did any measure of enthusiastic off roading lost/damaged some tupperware. It's an unfortunate design flaw in an otherwise excellent 4x4. That was the main reason Andrew St Pierre White criticized the Pajero so much on his trip to Namibia some years ago. The only solution is an aftermarket steel bumper and perhaps a suspension lift. But I can't find a rear steel bumper anywhere...

Haha. Happened to me as well on my first 4x4 outing. I made 2 stainless steel plates that I bolted to the tow bar frame, it pulled the tupperware up and I never had the problem again. Will find the photos and post them.

    thanks I would appreciate that!

I have seen a few Paj drivers experience this issue, that's why I thought there might be a few options to rectify this issue...
