I can second that. I think one of the best lamb shanks I have ever had was there. Small cosy atmosphere and a more traditional menu with good ingredients executed perfectly.
Sometimes difficult to get in, numerous awards and I am upset that it was revealed here as it should remain a best kept secret type of place, very similar to le Canard in Morningside Jwannesbeg which closed unfortunately

Agree 100% with Mrs Simpson's my favourite restaurant and a great way to start my weekend when we go there.

Britannia hotel Durban for curry
Cindy's Cafe and Take away in main rd Umhlali for Curry
Frieslands in East London for milk shakes and Shamrock Pies
Pizza Pane Vino at Val Du Charron Wine farm in Wellington ,best view and great pizza
Sleepers in Hoedspruit , a quick brekkie especially the chicken livers brekkie and you are ready for the park

Where: Pringle Bay
Food: Seafood
This fantastic place serves great seafood.
There is no menu. Only 2 members of staff. Jacqui the dessert maker and waitress and her brother who is the cook.
Weekdays lunch is beer battered hake with chips.
Dinner time is a la carte seafood(usually 3 choices of fresh fish).
Two nights of the week they do steak night where no seafood is offered.
All meals 2 desserts are on offer: creme brûlée and chocolate pot, both superb.
They are usually booked up fairly far in advance.
