    Default headlight wiring upgrade

My defenders headlights still are not what Id like. I have already fitted clear lenses and aftermarket bulbs which improved things but still not by a large margin. I have changed the coils so the headlights also need adjustment, does anyone have a manual for this or know where i can have this done?

The next step is to upgrade the wiring harness to get some more juice to the globes.
Has anyone done this or used this harness from 4x4 direct http://www.4x4direct.co.za/headspot-light-harness/6170-h4-headlight-booster-harness.html .

Upgrading the wiring will sort your problem. 4x4 direct harass would be perfect. I would as an extra put in a thicker FUSED cable from the battery to the 4x4direct harass relays in the engine bay. The less volt drop the better.

Thanks Henri but I have already bought replacement bulbs a while ago. It is a blue type of light which I absolutely hate and the only LED lights I could find where also blue type. Hope that makes some sense

The 80 suffered from the same problem. I did the whole wiring upgrade. Forever a dog breakfast of wires behind the grill. LED's is just an easier route and they are not voltage critical.

There are decent LED Head Light Bulb kits out there - with the correct 6000 K colour and quality LED's which throw good light patterns - just need to know where to look

Order a pair of kensun HIDs with 4300k color. If you have the clear lenses then this will be an excellent upgrade. Kensun is highly rated, not some Chinese fly by night product.
