FIRST owner & info of 2/CAB Landy

Hi guys. I'm trying to trace the very first owner of my 98 Land Rover Defender Double Cab. Any ideas? (Nothing sinister; I just want more info on the car)
Where/when was the 1st DOUBLE-CAB Defender made? Were they all conversions and by whom? When did Land Rover SA themselves start selling D/cabs and did they do the conversions themselves (from CKD - complete knock down - kits)? If not, who did it for them?
...lot of questions, but battling to find relevant info anywhere; surely hope someone here can assist? Will be much appreciated!

I know Land Rover did sell them, I have a 2001 TD5 double cab that I converted to a game viewer

Tx. Did you have it from new? Was it completely assembled in the LR plant here in SA?

Sorry No bought it in about 2009, was it assembled here? Sorry cant say I know
