Stopped by Merc Century City the other day with the wife and had a squiz at the G Wagon there. G350cdi. Man what a piece of kit. So much want.
Inside is stunning too, and being fairly square in the back, probably great for packing too.
Think it was listed at R799.
I also like that it has tyres with a side wall as standard, and not these rubber bands.

Edit - see it was R899.

The pics may be nice but the Wagons are fugly, with a capitol F.

Anybody for a Toyota Stallion or a Venture.

The only reason I would buy one of those is to have something that would last till I die.

    nice.

    Very specific buyer and vehicle.

More know as "I have money" where is was built specifically as a last forever and ever offroader.

I cannot justify the price tag on the 350, but thats me. G wagon buyers do not even ask the price, they buy it cause they want it.

I wouldn't mind a white one on the Professional trim. I do not care for the huge mags and offroad unfriendly interiors of the higher spec models. As far as looks go I think this thing should be in the Louvre instead of the Range Rover, the basic shape has outlasted just about anything on the market today!

It's a pity that the new one no longer has a proper off-road suspension though.
