    Default Trailblazer 2.5 smoking

    Hi All

Swambo's 2012 Trailblazer 2.5 smokes black smoke on start up for about 2 seconds.
It also does not start immediately

Compared to my Ranger 2.2 it has very little low down torque. I have to rev it quite a bit to get up my driveway, whereas my Ranger idles up easily
The TB recently got a service at 70kkm

Is this normal, should I be worried?

Im no expert but not starting immediately I would look first at battery. Its very possible that it is a bit tired.
Black smoke at start for a second or two as far as I understand can be common. The engine starts rich and bkack smoke is a sign of overfueling.
The poor start may just be adding to the problem with "flooding" cause of the delay in turning over.
If it gets worse get injectors checked out. But I very much doubt it, unless you got dirty fuel.

But ja, start with battery and take it from there
