Default Looking for recent reports on Mabua and Mapaya

    Hi there
I will be at these two pans in a few weeks time and am looking for any info on recent visits there as I am unable to find anything recent on this site. Any info on the pans, pan water, grass situation, camp sites, game activity, roads surface, water in the camps etc would be very much appreciated.
    Cant wait.
    Thanks in advance.
    Howard

    Hi Howard

Was our first visit as follow:
Lesholoago No 2 - 20/08/2017. Ablution clean, water for shower
    Mpaya No 1 - 21 & 22/08/2017, Ablution clean, water for shower
    Mosomane - 23/08 - there is nothing
Rooiputs No 3 - 25/08/2017, Ablution acceptable, water for shower

Not much animal movement experienced (my opinion is that veld is in good condition with tall grass - maybe as a result of the late rain in the area?)
Gemsbok, lots of steenbok, jackal, etc. Had lions roaring during the night but never saw any. Highlights was 5 cheetahs together. All birds, squirrels, muishond at Mpaya very tame (to the point of being a nuisance).

No water seen anywhere except at water holes/cribs. Roads rutted to/and sandy - let down your tyres and enjoy...........

    Hope this helps
    Chris
