    Default Td5 gearbox questions

    Howzit guys,

My Defender has an R380 gearbox (209k km) which is notchy when selecting to and from 2nd and 3rd gears. This occurs mainly when it's cold.
I also had an issue when it would not shift into 2nd when cold but a gearbox oil change this week seems to have resolved that.

The gear synchro rings were replaced about 25k km's ago which did not resolve my issue.
The clutch is not slipping or dragging (slave and master are 6 months old), no abnormal play in the lever, the gearbox oil was changed this week and reverse selects without a problem.
Not sure how relevant this is but when the vehicle is stationary the gear selector goes through the gears without any problems or effort.

What can be done to better adjust the gearbox without pulling the box? Are there obvious things I should be checking?

Worn selector yoke(FRC5859) can give various gear change issues , maybe worth a check, see this https://www.landroverexpedition.com/...in-the-coffin/
