    Nee. Hierdie is fataal. Op die teerpad sal die straps mekaar deur sny. Vergeet nog van grond pad.

    As jy nie in die wiele kan vasmaak nie, dan om die as. Maar ja. Daar word baie geld spandeer op die vering van die nuwe kare. Gebruik dit tot jou voordeel.

    As dit naby en op teer is, dan werk dit. Maar nerens moet die een strap trek teen die ander nie.

    Sederdien het ek weg beweeg van daardie manier. Werk lekker, maar die straps verorber mekaar.

    Ek het vir jare my resies kar agter my Alfas gesleep op 'n treiler sonder suspensie. AGV dit, kon die treiler bed baie laag wees, ongeveer so 150/200mm van die grond af. Die as was soos portals, maar onderstebo, sodat die bed baie laag kon wees.

    Die kar was oor die wiele vas gemaak, net voor en net agter waar die wiel stops was, ('n wig soos n wiel "chock" voor elke voor wiel), was 'n oog. Dan het ek tie-straps van voor na agter oor die wiel se loopvlak, vasgetrek. Die kar se supensie het dan aan die treiler suspensie dienste verleen.

    Dit het die treiler baie stabiliteit gegee en die COG was dus ook baie laag. Het een keer (baie onverantwoordelik) die resies kar en treiler oor sowat 2 km tot op 160 kpu gesleep om die treiler se stabiliteit soos hierbo, met die resieskar op, aan 'n skeptiese professionele ingenieur te bewys. Dit was na afloop van 'n wedren in Welkom.
