Armedillo vs Securi-lid Which one

I am interested in installing a "roll shutter" cover on my Amarok D/C 2017 (no roll bar yet) but can't get a clear feel for which one to go for, Securi-lid (only comes in manual) or Armadillo Auto or manual ??

If there's someone with either of these installed please be so kind and provide some comment on your feel for this with also a photo of it installed on your Rok or even others welcome.

I know its impossible for a roller shutter to be waterproof but I would like it to be as much as possible also dust !!

Did Armadillo and also tailgate dust kit at Frontrunner and so far happy. You need to seal tailgate too else you wasting your time.

I had the Securi-Lid on my rig and I was very happy with it. But from what's i can tell is hat it's not really much difference between the two, so go for the cheaper one.

I had a Securi-lid on my Hilux the lock mechanism works better than the Armadillo and I never had any issues with its operation, a friend had the Armadillo on his Amarok and had constant problems with it getting stuck when opening it, it seems that its such a tight fit that if it doesnt roll back perfectly straight it would get stuck in its rails and you would need to use force to pull it open or closed.

I would highly consider rigidek. I've had the roll tops, and they are fine for a while, but the sealing tape between slats delaminates over time. I have the rigidek on my Rok, and it seals really well. WRT a tailgate dust seal kit... don't buy the normal one. It's not great on the ROK, and there is a much simpler, neater, effective and cheaper way to do it yourself.

I have securilid on hilux DC. Works well. Just a note the securilid had a method of mounting a roof rack on top. I'm not sure if the armadillo can do that as well. Don't have any issues with mine.

Pretty much! Under a hundred bucks, and works better than the frontrunner kit on the Amarok, which I had used on my previous one.
