    Default Wupperthal to Warmhoek

    Good morning,

Wupperthal to Warmhoek over the mountains.

Has anyone attempted this route or know of it? Is it jeep track or does only a hiking trail exist? Also, would it be doable by 4x4 or bike only?

    TIA

If this is the route via Eselbank then we did it in December in my Fortuner - you will need high ground clearance and diff locks as it is a rocky ride going up from Wuppertal. It is a two spoor track up to Eselbank after which a normal vehicle can do the route.

I don't think that this is the same route.

    Thanks Francois.

I also received feedback on a different forum that this is within Cape Nature and a permit needs to be obtained to go hiking there.

Pity, as I can imagine this being an epic route!
