Weighing your trailer/caravan

Hi there all

Do any of you know where, close to Centurion, you can have your trailer / caravan weighed? I'm trying to establish, with all the gear and stuff I pack when I go camping, whether my trailer is still below GVM, and if so how much I can add (food, wood, other non-permanent stuff) for a trip?

You can either go to a testing station or even a metal recycling company close-by - they are usually very friendly. Maybe offer them a Coke?

A while ago Bosal Afrika offered a free-of-charge weigh in at their Koedoespoort facility on a camping facebook group.
Try to contact Bennie there - not sure if they still do.

Ruto mills off mitchell street pta west. They have a official weighbridge.

Scrap dealers have weighbridges, and so do many of the bigger steel suppliers.

Near you is Vehicle Technical Solutions. 89 Sterling Crescent, Samrand. I had my trailer certified a couple of weeks ago.
