Default Khutse - lions - March

Which Khutse campsites have the most lions (near them) in the first week of March?

Been there twice in March at the same camp. First time we didn't see any lions. Second time we saw lions on a daily basis. I personally think it depends on how lucky you are.

You will only get guaranteed lion sightings at the zoo :-) That said, Molose 1 is known for regular lion sightings.

As mentioned, finding predators is never guaranteed. We had clients come back from Xini last week that didnt see any lions, but another group at the same place, same day, saw a pride of 21. So its difficult to say.
But in Khutse, it's always best to stick further in, at Molose or Moreswe. These are the better two campsites I think for solitude/sightings. Khutse pan has more people around and you'll be more alone in the east/north.

Amen. I used to game drive haphazardly around the park, just kept wishing something pass by, and that wasn't effective. I have since excelled at tracking. You should keep looking up tracks on your route. That can make a big change to your chances of sightings.

Hi stayed over there in February 2017 5 days at Molose and every day lions most off the time we spotted the male lions on their morning walk at the molose pool.
Every night roaring sounds, maybe I was lucky from the five days all of them lion sightings.
Wake up as early as possible and go at as soon as possible, return as late as possible.

First 3 minutes is Khutse with the lions as well, rest kgalagadi.
