Am I correct that the Panda 4x4 is the cheapest 4x4 on the market in SA?

I know you've ordered your kung-fu Panda already, but just to throw a spanner in the works:

Not sure it's 4x4 but it does have a full-size spare wheel, and Suzukis are generally fun and reliable...

I will definitely be taking it to Atlantis Dunes and up Helderberg 4x4 at the first opportunity I get! I cab already tell that ground clearance will be the limiting factor, so the red route at Helderberg might be too much but I'm sure it will do the blue route easily.

Did you take it for a drive also?

So my Panda will only arrive around end October.

Isn't it better to wait a bit and get a 2018 model?

Went to collect parts for my wifes 500 on Sat . Took the PandaCross for a very short test drive. Can only agree it is probably the most fun vehicle around. Regarding build quality - interestingly the 5oo pretty well put together. Ours is driven 12 km on gravel every day and is also the most dustproof vehicle we have ever owned amd hat includes MB's. Enjoy your PANDA , just wish I could justify buying one for myself.

    Glad you both liked it.

Yes that exhaust note is something else, I think Hooly you described it very well

Right so seeing that there's a 3 month waiting period for the particular color and spec combination I want, it seems I'll only get my Panda very early next year.

    So the wait begins...

I've had the following Fiats. Palio. Punto. Panda and 500. Loved them all. We went camping in the Panda and were pleasantly surprised how much we could fit in. This was the new shape Panda.
