Thats close to my average of 6.5 km/l on the DC V6...now 136 000km on the clock.
Also no lift, but air helpers at the back.

Most of the aftermarket kits offer a 2-inch lift - 50mm, as far as I know, that is sufficient to run 35s. 33s is certainly not a problem at all - you can run 33s with standard suspension.

50mm is roughly what I got from OME. So, I should be able to run 35s without any further mods. So watching this with interest..

i run 285 at the moment, so they are 33 inch, i thought 3.5 inch was what you needed to run 35, i don't want to lift it that high.

I love the softer suspension of the 76. Hope the 35`s will clear with standard suspension setup.

Did the 35 thing on Saturday. It clears with mm to spare. Rim offset and a mild lift could only better things.

Seker max 10mm.

Maar maak liewer nuwe radius arms. Dan maak jy hulle omtrent 15mm langer.

I have airbags at the back on my SC with the OEM suspension. Works nice, as it runs mostly empty but when I loaded its a full load. Going to change the shocks soon with the adjustable Tough Dog and see how that works.

DC also going for airbags soon, for trip loads includes 200l petrol, caravan hooked. I fitted only longer shackles with the canopy and wheels carriers as the normal load. I see the DC come out with nitro charged shocks.

So what do I say after owning the v6 for a year and the v8 for almost 2 years. I love them to bits.

Surely not the most comfortable ride on tarred toads but everything changes once you hit the dirt roads. That were the reason I bought them for their offroad capabilities. No stress about stuff breaking, tyers punctures or breaking it self up even when traveling the worst of roads. Not even one single rattle at this stage.

Seems that the catch can I installed on the v8 also doing what it needs to do. Will empty it later today.
