Buy from Alibaba, quite easy and good service. You may have to pay vat and duties when it arrives.

Wait, does a Prado 150 not have auto door lock when the vehicle exceeds 20km/h ? A polo has this, it cost a 3rd of the price of a prado

But can you Service a Polo in every corner of every town and charge ridiculous used prices for it when you sell it later?

Jeep001, are you planning on ordering? I am also looking at this, found this for the auto locking today.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/High...c-2141067d62dc

And this one for the window closer

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CE-C...c-2141067d62dc

And another one, this looks more like the correct item

    Hi Amilo2003
Yes, would love to get the model for mirror+auto locking. Bythe way, the Window closer is already installed – you need to ask thedealership to program it. They already did mine.
I am regular in JHB – so we can also combine and import intoJHB (only if it makes sense). I must admit that I am stupid when it comes toimporting something.
It appears that there are various different modules – I’m abit scared that I order the wrong part. I will post a question on thePradopoint website for some advice.
    Kind regards
    Edwin

Great, those are the modules I am looking for as well. If we can get a few owners to order the shipping costs can be shared and the unit cost will decrease. I will take care of the importing, my company is registered as an importer with SARS. Once we have the part details nailed down we can order.

Is there also a way to program the dvd player on the console to work while driving? Currently only work with the gear lever in P, handbrake activated. I know it is programmed like that for safety, but my wife would like to watch dvd's while I am driving.

    HI Amilo
Yes, but they request that you contact them – which is whatI had done, just waiting for a reply. In the meantime the Aussie website hassuggested the following module:
    http://s.aliexpress.com/BZJz2MZV
Itmentions “TX”, just waiting for confirmation about the VX. Iit looks like it isjust a “plug-and-play”, no wiring required.
    Kindregards

    Hi guys,

I am ready to order, the free shipping goes to the post office and with my past experiences with parcels not arriving I prefer courier, unfortunately it is more expensive.

The cost works out to total of $182.36 for 3 units, so cost landed per unit in RSA will $60.79, or R2450 total and R817.67 each. Anticipated VAT then R114 (duties not known at this stage), so work out lets say R1000 each. Additional units will not increase courier cost, so if we can order say 5 the cost per unit comes down to R661.80 landed each!

    Any more takers?

Hi ThereSo I have just bought the new Prado and am disappointed by some of the feature. It has auto side mirrors but no auto locking doors. In previous versions of the Prado and the Fortuner that I have owned there was a module that Toyota themselves installed that would solve the auto locking of the doors.Anyone able to point me in the right direction regarding this?Much appreciated
